The proprietors, Sam and Brian Twitchen, have many years experience within the gardening industry with Brian having served his apprenticeship at Compton Acres back in 1969.
We offer a friendly, reliable and knowledgeable service and our staff are well trained in all aspects of the trade. We recycle 100% of the biodegradable waste produced from our work and also use machinery such as mulching mowers where possible to recycle directly at source. Grass clippings make a great slow release fertiliser if mulched correctly and left in the lawn.  Throwing away grass cuttings only adds to the already overloaded landfill sites and of course wastes valuable nutrients and time.  To quantify the amount of grass being wasted - a lawn the size of a tennis court will produce in the region of 1¼ tons of grass clippings per year, which is the equivalent of 9 tons per acre.

We hold all the necessary public and employer liability insurance as well as waste carriers licence and pesticide application licence.
